Overview

Country Club of Asheville is seeking a Member Services and Communications Specialist.  The Member Services and Communication Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional member service, enhancing the overall member experience, and managing the club’s communications. This position serves as the primary point of contact for members regarding inquiries, events, and club updates. Additionally, the role involves maintaining digital and print communication channels to ensure timely and engaging information is shared with the membership.

Responsibilities

Member Services:

  • Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new members, providing orientation and information about club amenities and policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with members to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  • Handle reservations for dining, events, and other club activities as needed.
  • Support the membership team in retention and engagement initiatives.

Communications & Marketing:

  • Develop, edit, and distribute all club communications, including newsletters, email campaigns, website updates, and social media content.
  • Ensure all communication materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with the club’s brand standards.
  • Manage content updates on the club’s website and mobile app.
  • Coordinate with department heads to promote upcoming events, programs, and services.
  • Design flyers, brochures, and digital assets to promote club events and initiatives.
  • Monitor member feedback and engagement through surveys and digital interactions to improve communication strategies.

Event Support & Engagement:

  • Assist in planning and executing member events, ensuring smooth communication and promotion.
  • Collaborate with the events and hospitality teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
  • Attend club events as needed to provide on-site communication support and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a private club, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website management.
  • Experience with CRM or club management software (e.g., Clubessential, Jonas) is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
