Overview

Country Club is seeking a Turn House Attendant to join our team to provide on course food and beverage service.  The Turn House Attendant is a key member of Country Club of Asheville’s Food and Beverage team, providing exceptional service to members and guests at the halfway point of their round. This role combines hospitality, efficiency, and a love for the outdoors in a scenic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Individuals considered for this position will be expected to take ownership of the cleanliness, back stock, operational success of the Turn house, while positively contributing to the country club and golf course atmosphere. Dependability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a vibrant personality are expected. This individual must be able to respond promptly to member needs while deliver outstanding food and beverage service to members and  their guests.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Greets the members and guests cheerfully by name if possible or addresses them by sir or ma’am.
  • Complete opening and closing duties/checklists in a timely fashion.
  • Serves Alcoholic Beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
  • Maintains full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, current a la carte menus and Daily Specials.
  • Properly receives, stores and inventories all beverage and/or bar products.
  • Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Does side work during non-busy hours.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
  • Will assure that member’s satisfaction standards are consistently attained and will seek opportunities to create positive, memorable experience for both members and guests.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area.
  • Preforms additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage manager.
  • Includes daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
  • Ability to use a point of sale terminal
  • Basic Mathematical Skills (Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide)
  • Must be of age to serve an Alcoholic Beverage in the State of North Carolina
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Country Club Experience preferred but not required

Salary Range

USD $16.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
