Overview

Wilson Country Club is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is responsible for general cleanliness of the main kitchen dish area and other Food and Beverage kitchen prep areas.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish area, kitchen, and back-of-house workspaces.
  • Properly store clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and supplies in designated areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors to ensure a safe, clean, and slip-free environment.
  • Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, break down boxes, and remove debris from kitchen areas.
  • Clean and maintain dish machines, sinks, shelves, walk-ins, refrigerators, storage areas, and other kitchen equipment according to established cleaning schedules.
  • Inspect dishware, glassware, and utensils for cleanliness and report damaged items or equipment concerns to management.
  • Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and restock dishwashing supplies, including detergents, sanitizers, paper products, and cleaning materials.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and other support duties as assigned.
  • Support service staff by prioritizing cleaning needs during peak service periods.
  • Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Report accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education, Certification and Experience

• High School diploma or GED. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

 

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Food safety certification.  

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.

• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

• Continuous repetitive motions.

• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.

Salary Range

USD $11.00 - USD $13.00 /Hr.
